This course will likely be a nice hot day in the high country. What's the best way to keep up with the hydration demands?
First, bring a hydration pack. Personally I use a 3 liter Nathan. It has extra carabiners attached to allow for external items in mesh bags. Refilling these can be a pain so I bring 2 bladders and have one ready to swap out at transition. Fast and easy for the win. :)
Plan on using drink bottles on the bike. Extra doesn't hurt, and there's a lot of climbing on this course.
Water will be available at the Buffalo Creek checkpoint by the medical tent and at base camp, but it'll take time to refill everything. Bring what you can carry and use these options as backup for the fastest time on the course.
Have fun on your adventure!
